This historic farmstead with roots dating back to pre-Viking times, provides an authentic Norwegian experience in the picturesque village of Lom, adjacent to the renowned Jotunheimen National Park.

Nestled beneath the majestic Lomseggen mountain in the heart of Norway, Andvord Gard offers a unique blend of historical charm and modern comfort.

Historic Farm Stay

Experience the tranquility of rural Norway in beautifully restored 18th-century buildings decorated with art and cultural-historical objects.

Andvord Gard features 12 bedrooms accommodating up to 23 guests, spread across three distinct houses:

* Main House: Three double rooms sharing a spacious bathroom.

* Nystugu: Six double rooms, each with private bathrooms, a cozy fireplace lounge, kitchen.

* Kårboligen: Two double rooms and one single room; two rooms with shared bathrooms.

Guests can also enjoy a traditional sauna and shower facilities in the “Ildhuset.”

Andvord Gard serves as an ideal base for exploring natural wonders in our immediate neighbourhood. Popular activities include:

* Hiking to Galdhøpiggen, Norway’s highest mountain, at sunrise

To-days concept for a stay at Andvord gard is ‘’bed and breakfast’’.

We take great pride in serving you a delicious breakfast hopefully after a good night’s sleep.

Restaurants for lunch or dinner are easily accessible in the village by foot. If you want us to help you with a reservation, please let us know!

For groups requiring dinner at the farm, we can offer this by engaging one Loms fine cooks to assist us. This requires a booking in good time to find the right cook.
